"Our new goat is a Saanen goat"

Owner Nick Laister explains that it is an exciting time for Fairytale Farm

We have some brand new attractions for February. Our indoor play room and cafe have had a complete fairytale makeover whilst we have been closed, with newly painted murals that give it a magical Jack and the Beanstalk theme. Fairytale Farm's resident artist, Tim Morgan, has done an incredible job.

We have a new game that all the family can play together - a traditional game of skittles with a difference. And the difference? They are huge!

In contrast to the giant skittles, our star attraction for February is actually quite small. Our brand new goat is a Saanen goat. In common with this breed of goat, she has a mellow, mild-mannered temperament and loves playing with children. But she is much smaller than the average Saanen goat, hence we have called her...Thumbelina!
