Designed for a sharper more dynamic driving experience

This year the awards focused on what buyers search for most frequently when researching a car purchase, and reliability proved a major factor. The results are based on reviews and feedback from thousands of car owners to make the results truly representative.

Since its launch in 2002, the Jazz has proved consistently popular selling over 310,000 since originally introduced. And now the new generation Jazz has arrived, again offering reliability and value for money. The styling of the new Jazz is eye catching and contemporary, including a powerful new face and bolder lines distinguishing it from its popular predecessor.

It comes with a new platform 12% lighter than its predecessor, new chassis, dynamic suspension, new engines and new transmissions. The cabin has been substantially enhanced, and there’s a comprehensive set of new safety features. It is longer than the outgoing model allowing occupants 115mm more legroom. As in the case of the HRV, its centrally mounted petrol tank enables class leading interior space and versatility, again the car being able to accommodate the highly versatile ‘magic seat’ arrangement pioneered by the brand.

The new platform is designed for a sharper more dynamic driving experience mated to a new, more rigid and lighter chassis and re-engineered suspension that has been specifically tuned for Europe aligned to new engine and transmission options. The suspension set-up and new AHA (Agile Handling Assist) system help to minimise understeer. Lighter suspension and new damper systems improve ride quality, whilst ‘faster’ electric power steering increases feedback for the driver.

The all-new Jazz is fitted with a 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine from Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology series, and weighs less than the previous model engine of the same size. All of course benefit from an impressive 354 litres of boot-space. You can’t beat buying with piece of mind.
