Enjoy a traditional two course lunch while listening to Lili la Scala’s ‘War Notes from Woburn’


Hear a poignant blend of vintage songs from a bygone era, accompanied on the piano by Tom Carradine, incorporating letters sent to the Duke of Bedford from Bedfordshire soldiers in action during World War I.

This event offers a rare chance to view part of The Woburn Estate’s World War I private archive collection which will also be on display.

War Notes from Woburn is free to attend for World War II veterans, priced at £25.95 per person otherwise. Welcome tea and coffee will be served from 11.30am at The Sculpture Gallery, followed by a two course lunch of traditional roast beef and trimmings, apple crumble and your choice of tea or coffee.

War Notes from Woburn on Remembrance Sunday is supported by the Royal British Legion and Bedfordshire’s County Chairman Mr Eric Robinson MBE will be attending the event.
