centre:mk welcomes Gruffalo experience
"The Gruffalo story brought to life..."
This Easter, centre:mk will host the ‘Gruffalo Experience’ – open to the public from 19th March until 10th April 2016
The Gruffalo Experience at centre:mk is a chance for children to interact with the characters from the story of the much-loved children’s book. The Gruffalo, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, has now sold over 13.5 million copies and has won several prizes for children’s literature – as well as being developed into both West End and Broadway productions.
The fully interactive 45 minute experience will take children through the deep dark wood, as if they’ve walked onto the pages of the Gruffalo, with trees, bright red and white toad stools, grass, boulders, logs and the occasional fox hole.
The Gruffalo story will be brought to life in the deep, dark wood with immersive interactions with The Gruffalo and the fox, owl, snake and mouse that live there.
The Gruffalo Experience will be at the centre for three weeks during the Easter holidays.
Shaun Rhodes, Head of Marketing at centre:mk, says “We are thrilled that The Gruffalo Experience has chosen centre:mk Milton Keynes as the next stop on its UK tour. This is a unique and exceptional family experience for all lovers of the Gruffalo books and we hope to attract both existing and new fans to this childhood bedtime favourite.”
Tickets are available to book online at thecentre:mk.com
