Susan Dunstall Landscape & Garden Design
is a busy practice established in 2008; over the last ten years Susan and her team have created beautiful outdoor spaces for a range of clients across the UK. Trained at the one of the world’s top professional garden design institutions, the Oxford College of Garden Design, Susan’s designs are recognised for their clean, architectural lines, rich planting and the creative use of water features and sculptures alongside elegant styling.
Intelligent design is the focus:
commissions are thoughtfully planned, using traditional materials to sit harmoniously in contemporary settings. Susan uses her keen eye for detail and a multi-disciplinary background in art, design and project management to deliver a landscaped space that is bespoke to the individual client.
Part of an award-winning collaboration team
that designed David Harber’s sculpture gardens at Chelsea Flower Show for three years running (Best Trade Stand for 2013 to 2015), Susan’s striking, conceptual designs raised the bar for how show gardens could be designed, planned, executed and delivered within the pressured timescales.
Recognising the power
of gardens to heal, and how they were once used to restore the sick back to health, Susan’s garden design expertise also means that she works with community groups, hospitals and treatment centres to create elegant and peaceful settings to aid people’s mental and physical recovery.
Susan is a long-standing tutor of the internationally respected online Garden Design Diploma programme run by the Oxford College of Garden Design. This enables her to mentor students and foster best practice garden design to tomorrow’s up-and-coming designers.
