Bisham Abbey dates back to the 13th century and was formally one of King Henry VIII's homes. It's positioned beautifully beside the River Thames, in Bisham near Marlow in Buckinghamshire.

Bisham Abbey is steeped in history. The building was used as a place of confinement for Queen Mary of Scots throughout the wars of Scottish succession. In 1540 it was owned by King Henry VIII who left the house to Anne of Cleves as settlement of their divorce.

Surrounded by gorgeous views and countryside, there is a choice of two incredible rooms licenced to host a civil ceremonies. With royal décor reflecting throughout the abbey, each room holds elegance and beauty.

Located near the heart of the abbey, overlooking our beautiful lawns and the River Thames, the Warwick provides an intimate setting for up to 90 ceremony guests and up to 60 reception guests. While the majestic Great Hall, situated near the entrance of the abbey, can seat up to 150 ceremony guests and up to 120 reception guests.

The team at Bisham Abbey create exquisite dishes of the finest quality. They have created a fine selection of menus to choose from including a three course menu with petit fours and an evening buffet selection.

There are 50 luxury rooms for your guests to retire to, beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities. There is a charming bridal suite available for the happy couple.
