Burford Lit Fest 2022 will take place 22-25 September 2022 to bring authors and booklovers together in a way that is both accessible and as a ‘not for profit’ festival, affordable.
Set in the stunning historic town of Burford in Oxfordshire, Burford Literary Festival 2022 presents an inspiring programme of events, with authors covering a wide range of topics and genres including history, politics, the natural world, poets, pioneers and innovators including Pam Ayres, Gill Hornby, Alison Weir and Martin Sandbu. As well as The Madhatter Tea Party with Frederick The Fox and The Secret Garden Party with food by multi-award winning Chef Matt Weedon.
We also work closely with local schools and have implemented a programme of author events directly placed into the school timetable to ensure all our local children have the opportunity to get involved and be inspired.
To ensure our audience has the best possible experience many of our events will take place in bijou venues with their own special ambience and tickets are limited therefore each event feels like a conversation between author and audience.
