Clarendon Oxford

Re-Opens Today (15th June)

“we’re introducing some safety initiatives that we will need everyone to follow”

Following the recent government announcement, some of our stores are planning to reopen on 15th June; and we’re making sure we’re ready to welcome you back.

The way we all shop is going to feel different for a while and we’re going to need your cooperation to keep everyone safe. After all, our priority is yours and our colleagues’ health.

With this in mind, we’re introducing some safety initiatives that we will need everyone to follow. From time to time, this may mean that you are inconvenienced, and we ask you to bear with us during this unprecedented period.

Not all of our retailers will open straight away, and we urge you to check our website regularly in order to find the latest information relating to individual opening times. Some stores may also need to close temporarily if they become too busy, need to re-stock or just need to re-set their safety procedures.

Please be aware that the doors to the Clarendon Centre will now open at 8.30am, and will close at 7.20pm.

Social distance shopping

To ensure a safer shopping experience we ask that you only shop with members of the same household.

You will notice, on arrival, that there are hand sanitisation units at each entrance for customer use, and we have introduced new signage around the centre to aid you in maintaining a 2m distance from other shoppers.

Stores will have queueing systems run by their staff, please be mindful of these and do not join queues that extend beyond the designated area. The amount of people admitted into each store will be limited based on the size of the store.

Extra cleaning and safety precautions

As you might expect, we'll be doing extra cleaning and sterilising to make the whole centre is as safe as possible for you.

In addition to the hand sanitisers at each entrance, many stores will also have new protective screens at key points such as checkouts.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to all our essential workers that have kept key stores open and running while we’ve been in lockdown, and to all the NHS and other key workers that have truly gone the extra mile over the past few months.
