Lock down your love this Valentine’s at Oxford Castle & Prison, as couples are invited to enjoy a romantic three-course dinner in the historical prison, infamous for holding criminals such as The Great Train Robber, Thomas Wisbey and The Black Panther, Donald Neilson.
Chris Abbott the general manager at Oxford Castle & Prison says, “Valentine’s Day meals don’t have to be the norm. We are offering the opportunity for our guests to dine somewhere with a bit of difference. Enjoy a meal in cells where some of the most notorious prisoners have been locked away and in the crypt where some of the most famous stories of all time were created. Oxford Castle & Prison has notoriously been a place of love loss and it’s time to turn that on its head this Valentine’s.”
The menu includes a choice of starters, mains and desserts which includes vegetarian options.
Guests can book online and choose between a single cell, double cell, ground floor of the Debtors Tower, first floor of the Debtors Tower or the atmospheric Crypt.
Prices range from £85 - £120 depending on location
