Today, The Big Feastival are launching a competition, which invites children to submit their designs for the Big Top backdrop in the heart of the Little Dudes’ Den.
The Big Top Design Competition is encouraging children to design a fun, colourful, festival-inspired image, with the winning design going on to be produced and used as the backdrop for the Big Top stage.
The winner will also receive a Family Weekend Ticket to enjoy this year’s festival in full and see their design in the flesh.
A one-stop-shop for activities, The Big Top will keep small Feastival-goers dancing, singing, stretching, laughing and much more. Kids can learn skills from Ninjas, get moving with Zumbini, and ride the Music Bus and enjoy bundles of activities that will be sure to stir the imagination!
Alex James launched the competition today by visiting local school, Bledington Primary, to tell the class all about what will be happening in this year’s Little Dudes’ Den and the brand-new design competition. The Arts & Crafts team from the Big Feastival then ran an interactive session for the class and children on how they create the artwork for festivals and to inspire and help the class to design their competition entries.
The Big Feastival returns to Blur bassist, Alex James' farm this August Bank Holiday weekend with an all-star cast of music and chef talent to get your eardrums and tastebuds tingling! The festival has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for great music from the UK’s biggest artists, incredible cooking from Michelin star chefs, award-winning street food from across the UK or entertainment for the whole family – it’s certainly a weekend not to be missed! Jess Glynne, Raymond Blanc, Rudimental, Prue Leith, Elbow, Gennaro Contaldo and Lewis Capaldi among many others will be at the Big Feastival this year.
