Jeremy & the Harlequins

NYC Rock n' Rollers release their new album 'Remember This' March 1st on YEP ROC Records.

Remember This will be Jeremy & The Harlequins' third studio album, and with it the band's main objective with their music is keeping Rock n' Roll alive. That's something the New York five-piece have been doing since forming just a few short years ago, both with their debut American Dreamer (2015) and it's follow-up Into The Night (2016)

"We wanted to make a classic American rock record," explains vocalist Jeremy Fury on the new album. "When we made American Dreamer, I was really bored with rock music in general and I felt the only place to go was to strip it down and pull from the past. I was listening to a lot of 50s and 60s Rock n' Roll at that time, but for this record, I didn't want to limit myself to drawing from a certain amount of influences. These are the strongest songs we've ever written. It's definite progression, but also a reaction to what we've done in the past."

Remember This was recorded in LA with producer Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Lord Huron, Scott Weiland and The Wild Abouts) in the historic Beachwood Canyon and Boyle Heights areas of the city.

Speaking about their new single Little One, Jeremy explains that the song is 'the end result of contemplating a temporary romantic relationship I knew wouldn't last, a handful of Gene Vincent records, a bottle of cab, and me with an acoustic guitar in an empty NY apartment for the weekend while my roommates were out of town."

The band has seen a number of successes over the past three years- including major sync placements for their single Trip Into The Light, most notably in the Tom Cruise film Edge of Tomorrow. Starlight, featured on the new album, appeared in this season of Marvel's Luke Cage, and has been named the 'Coolest Song in the World' by Little Steven's Underground Garage radio show.
