TEDx Comes to Oxford

TEDxBonnSquare launch their conference

“TEDxBonnSquare is bringing the most cutting-edge and engaging research and ideas set to change the future of health, sustainable advancement and culture through technology, design and social development”

TEDxBonnSquare, the newly established TEDx conference in Oxford, will host incredible storytellers from the fields of technology, entertainment and design later this year in October.

TEDxBonnSquare will be held at the iconic Sheldonian Theatre on Broad Street. The event’s theme will be Think Forward with talks featuring innovative and up-coming start-ups, topics on life, health and personal development, as well as talks of the key technological and societal developments in the next decade.

After successfully organising two TEDx events for Oxford Brookes University, the organisers Waleed Khalid, Fynn Havinga and Jordan Smith realised the need to expand to a broader audience under a new chapter in Oxford.

“The incredible response we got from our audiences previously inspired us to bring the TED experience to an even wider audience. We want to continue sharing incredible stories and ideas and inspiring individuals.” - Waleed Khalid

“TEDxBonnSquare is bringing the most cutting-edge and engaging research and ideas set to change the future of health, sustainable advancement and culture through technology, design and social development. This is something very exciting.” - Fynn Havinga

If you would like to apply to become a speaker, the team at TEDxBonnSquare are looking for exceptional storytellers sharing their experiences and innovative ideas. Speaker applications are open on the TEDxBonnSquare website, with applicants able to apply through this link.
