Screening Trees
Gardens provide a sanctuary and respite from the busy world and using trees to screen out or hide an undesirable view, can create some valuable privacy. Screening trees grown for this purpose often have a ‘clear stem’, which means there are no leaves on the lower trunk. They reach up to fence panel height of around 1.8-2m with a full bushy canopy above, forming an effect screen above the fence line. Screening trees can be planted to create a focal point, perhaps to make the most of an attractive feature.
