A Celebration of Autumn

The RHS Malvern Autumn show in association with Westons, returns to the Three Counties Showground from the 26-28 September.

Attracting thousands of visitors from around the UK, the Autumn Show is the UK’s leading harvest season celebration. Unlike the Spring Show and other RHS shows which feature show gardens, this show brings together special guests, giant vegetables, baking competitions, unique experiences and fun for all the family – including your dog who is welcome to join in the fun on Sunday.

There are celebrity guests aplenty including well-known TV gardener Niall McCauley, and Gardener’s World presenters Monty Don OBE and Adam Frost. They will be appearing in the Garden Theatre, which is hosted by August Bernstein, head of The Raymond Blanc Gardening School at the Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons Gardening School.

Also joining August onstage is Manoj Malde, TV and radio presenter, author and RHS ambassador. After 18 years working in the fashion industry, Manoj turned his creative eye towards horticulture, incorporating colour, texture and flair into his designs: he will be sharing his tips and experience on creating wildlife gardens. Niall McCauley’s popular YouTube channel Niall Gardens has amassed over 80,000 keen followers, and he’s known for presenting gardening segments on ITV and RTE, as well as winning the GMG Alan Titchmarsh New Talent of the Year Award in 2022 and contributing to The Irish Garden magazine. Completing the Garden Theatre line up for 2025 are Kate Cotterill, CEO of She Grows Veg, who will be sharing the story behind the creation of her UK company which sells over 150 heirloom variety of seeds for edibles, and regular guest of the show, Jonathan Moseley (leading floral designer, writer and broadcaster), who will be celebrating the arrival of autumn with glorious seasonal arrangements.

After a successful debut in 2024, the Great Malvern Cake Off tent will return this year. Visitors can enjoy live baking demonstrations and Q&As with special guests and talented bakers whom we have come to know from watching The Great British Bake Off. These include Freya Cox, Lizzie Archer and Candice Brown. Overseeing the demo’s in the Great Malvern Cake Off tent is chef, author and presenter Marcus Bean, who will be inviting questions for the bakers from the audience.

On the Saturday, at 12pm in the Vintage Village you will see JB Gill in the Vintage Dance Tent. Take part in one of the free lessons throughout the weekend and learn the steps to dances from the 40s and 50s. There is a tearoom, live music and vintage attire, and for younger visitors, a vintage funfair and a chance to admire the spectacular vintage vehicles on display. Come dressed in your vintage finery and enter the Best Dressed competition or, for those inspired by the 40s and 50s, an opportunity to take part in the Parade by Decade.

An undoubted highlight of the Show is the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championships. Competitors from across the country will once again battle it out for a chance to win coveted Guinness World Records titles. Last year 13 new Guinness World Records were broken, so expect giant gourds, massive marrows, super-sized sunflowers, and much more.

In sizeable contrast – but impressive in its own right – the Harvest Pavilion will host over 100 different Grow to Show classes, where growers present the absolute best seasonal produce grown in their garden or allotment space including cut flowers, fruit, vegetables and succulents.

The popular RHS Flower Show will also have a stunning selection of seasonal blooms, as some of the UK’s best nurseries and growers compete for recognition from the esteemed RHS judges. The Floral Marquee will be bursting with top quality plants, flowers and bulbs to admire or purchase. Expert growers are also on hand to offer helpful suggestions and advice for the best plants to suit all spaces.

A popular feature of the Autumn Show is the Family Zone, which will host an exciting range of free entertainment and activities to delight those of all ages, and in the popular World of Animals area children can meet the animals, and even learn how to train a dinosaur…

As ever, visitors to the show are in for a treat when it comes to food and drink. Sample some fantastic local beer, cider or spirits, and mouth-watering street food will be on offer from some of the best local food vendors and producers the UK has to offer

Finally, Sunday Dog Day is back by popular demand after its successful debut in 2024, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the show on Sunday with their well-behaved furry companions.

Tickets for Malvern Autumn Show 2025 start from £22 in advance, with children aged 16 and under free of charge. A new Weekend Ticket is available for 2025 (online and in advance only) giving visitors access to Malvern Autumn Show on both Saturday and Sunday for £35. This two-day pass is a great way to make the most of all the show has to offer at a more leisurely pace but does not include camping. Sunday dog tickets are free, but must be booked in advance online, and numbers are limited.

More information and ticket bookings are now available at malvernautumn.co.uk.
