Some events are worth marking on your calendar. Handmade Oxford is one of them.
Returning for its fifth year, Handmade Oxford 2025 will take place at the stunning Waterperry Gardens from 12-14 June, bringing together over 150 of Britain’s most talented designer-makers. Whether you love beautifully crafted homewares, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, or fine art, this event is a true celebration of British creativity, and a must-visit for craft lovers.
A Celebration of Craft Like No Other
Handmade Oxford is not just an exhibition—it’s an immersive experience. Over 150 of the UK’s finest designer-makers will gather to present their work: ranging from exquisite jewellery and fashion to hand-thrown ceramics, contemporary furniture, printmaking, and sculpture. The event champions both tradition and innovation, ensuring that whether you’re a collector, an interior design enthusiast, or simply love discovering new talent, you’ll find something to inspire you.
It’s not every day you get to meet the people behind the craft; to hear their stories, watch them work and even try your hand at their skills. This year, visitors can enjoy live demonstrations, participate in hands-on workshops, and take home special pieces which tell a story.
The Perfect Setting: Waterperry Gardens
Set in the beautiful Waterperry Gardens, the event is surrounded by history and nature. Once home to the famous Art in Action festival, and now the location for BBC’s Make it at Market, Waterperry has long been a hub for creativity.
Visitors can explore the gardens, enjoy artisan food and drink, and experience the peaceful charm of the countryside, all while immersing themselves in the best of British craft.
