I’m a bit embarrassed that Hada Labo haven’t frequented the pages of this magazine as much as they deserve. After all, they are Japan’s No 1 skincare brand, and their products are so reasonably priced.

Back to the matter in hand, in terms of convenience a sheet mask is pretty hard to beat. Hado Labo’s Anti-Aging Facial Sheet Mask sits on the skin for 15 minutes, after which any excess liquid is simply to be massaged onto the face. It’s saturated with their ‘Super Hyaluronic Acid’ (“a powerhouse blend” with improved penetration and longevity) and shots of retinol and collagen for moisturised, firmer, hydrated skin. All of that and change from a fiver? What’s not to love?
