There’s an awful lot of Jubilee-themed memorabilia flooding stores this month. Much of which I may enjoy but wouldn’t seriously entertain – although props to Heinz for the Salad Queen variant of their often-underrated Salad Cream.

From their special edition Jubilee Collection, which is bursting with all the red, white, blue and British bedazzlement your heart could yearn for, this Austrian crystal-encrusted Pin Brooch in gold or silver coloured metal is gracious, restrained, elegant and witty. Much like the Queen herself.
