Neil tells us "The principle motivation behind working with reclaimed wood is to give a noble and discarded object second life, whilst maintaining a respect for the natural wood and its resources. What characterises my approach is an interest in the story of the tree, with an open acknowledgement of the imperfection in the wood, I cherish and celebrate its history".
