OX GIN Scholars Gin School

divider

Gin pioneers Jenny and Bob Clark were inspired to create one of Oxfordshire’s first Gin School experiences.

Their working distillery is open to tourists, and they have created a sipping room – stocked with their own supply of multi award winning OX GINS – and the OX GIN School in the same town.

As part of the Gin Scholars experience, you’ll taste a sample of their range before you make your own Oxfordshire expression under Jenny and Bob’s watchful eyes whilst using a miniature copper pot still – before bottling and labelling to take home and enjoy. Within this experience there is also a buffet lunch included to help soak up the experience.

The OX Gin Scholars Experience, £85.00 per person or £125.00 for two persons sharing a copper still

Earlier this year, Little Clarendon Street was named one of the coolest places in the UK. The glowing report cited shops like Wild Honey and The Jericho Cheese Company, as well as community hub, Common Ground, and the now departed Wilding restaurant. Happily this prime venue has not stayed vacant for long. Kibou, the Japanese Kitchen and Bar, has opened its latest outpost in Jericho, and I went along to try out their contemporary and very stylish take on Japanese classics and street food.

I’m always wary of being reductive when it comes to Father’s Day (or Mother’s Day, for that matter) but surely a backyard barbie is peak summer ‘dad’ and the Tracklements Father’s Day Gift Box will be received with great pleasure by any foodie father or epicurean uncle.
