The historic house, over the centuries, was built to entertain and has recently been entirely refurbished along with the addition of a stunning sustainably built sound proofed event space called ‘the Gillyflower’ made from rammed earth and materials gathered from the land.
As a country house wedding venue, it is pretty close to perfect with several brilliant options for the ceremony and reception including the historic and magical Great Hall, a Norman church described as being one of England’s prettiest and so much more both outside and in.
The house has 16 elegantly and comfortably designed bedrooms and can sleep 35 guests of the married couple. Included in the hiring of the venue is the newly renovated Coach House which brides or grooms have access to for the night before to enjoy some spa treatments and so that they and some select friends and family can wake up at Elmore, hair, makeup and a small glass of something perhaps.
Elmore Court is an incredibly well thought-through venue for exclusive weddings of up to 200 people and sometimes beyond.
