Science Club: Music Makers

Science Oxford Centre

divider

Mini-maestros make some noise at this month’s interactive Science Club. Music helps our body and mind work together and can help children to express themselves – often loudly!

Tune in to the science of sound, and investigate how and why instruments produce different notes, using tuning forks, rubber band guitars, rulers, kazoos, wine glasses, drums and wind chimes. Make straw recorders or paper bangers to take home and join our DIY orchestra for a show-stopping finalé, full of good vibrations.

10 June, Science Oxford Centre, Headington (ages 5-9)

10am, 12.30pm, 3pm

Includes entry to the woodland, outdoor Water Lab all day
