Abingdon Library is hosting an evening with local author Eve Smith who will be talking about her speculative thrillers and the inspiration behind her books. With issues ranging from climate change to genetic engineering, Eve's thrillers delve into modern problems and imagine how they might play out.

There will be a Q&A and the opportunity to buy signed copies of her latest book, ONE, which was described as 'pleasingly terrifying' by New Scientist in their review of best new July fiction.

The event costs just £2.00 which includes a free glass of wine or juice.

Please reserve your place by contacting the library on 01235 520374 or email: abingdon.library@oxfordshire.gov.uk
