An award-winning graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, the dazzling Ellie Sax is one of the world’s most prominent dance music saxophonists, performing at festivals, iconic clubs and exclusive private events all across the globe: from New Year’s Eve in the Maldives, pool parties in Ibiza, and moonlight raves in the Caribbean to headliner club appearances in New York, Marbella, Portugal, the Cote d’Azur, Cyprus, Croatia and more. Ellie travels the world with her DJ husband Harry, aka Laser Boy Wonder, and together they also create music in their home studio.
During festival season, Ellie has warmed up stages for artists such as Chase & Status, The Kaiser Chiefs, Judge Jules, Skepsis and Sam Ryder, and has also supported artists including The Black-Eyed Peas and Ministry of Sound Classical. Next month, she’ll be bringing Ibiza to British crowds at Windsor Racecourse for their one-day spectacular; Summertime Live.
What Makes Ellie
Happy
Being on stage and sharing the experience with my husband and DJ, Harry.
Sad
Not seeing my friends and family as much as I would like – especially in busy season.
Confident
Staying fit and healthy; eating well and going to the gym.
Reflective
Ibiza. And therapy
Angry
Unkindness and rudeness
Creative
Having fun. The more fun I have, especially when I’m performing, the more creative I feel, and I get inspired to make new remixes and tracks.
