The annual Abingdon Air & Country Show on Saturday 13th June is now in its 26th year which comprises a mix of aviation and ground attractions.
This years ‘Open Day’ features a slightly different format due to the costs of running the event with a varied aircraft and helicopter Fly-In during the day which includes a World War Two North American P51 Mustang and Westland Sea King Mk48 which will all be for closer viewing on the ground aswell as Aircraft Flypasts – some of which we hope are aircraft that participated in the Kings Birthday flypast from Buckingham Palace which we hope includes the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows.
Ground attractions range from Tank Rides, Classic vehicles which will include the Aston Martin and Abingdon MG Car Works Centre runway runs, Live Music and Crafts, Amusements, Re-Enactors, Allcomers Dog Show and Archery to various Trade stalls, Hot Food and a Bar.
The Car Parks open at 07.30am, show opens at 10am and promises to be another day full of action and closes around 4.30pm

Looking further ahead we hope to be planning for the 2027 Abingdon Air & Country Show at Abingdon Airfield, Dalton Barracks with a similar format of the show featuring both aviation on various ground attractions for Saturday 12th June subject to approvals at the end of this year and funding.
