Cogges Manor Farm in Witney is a very special place. With 1,000 years of history, it's bursting with rustic charm and is a beautiful location for a countryside wedding.
Nestled in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds on the edge of the market town of Witney, Cogges Manor Farm is a historic Manor House and farmyard with beautiful18th century barns, a stunning walled garden, an orchard, grand Manor House lawn, and lots of parking. There’s a tranquil beauty across the whole site and it’s a popular filming location. You may recognise it as Downton Abbey’s Yew Tree Farm which was filmed here for a number of years.
Wedding ceremonies can take place in the beautiful 18th century barns, in the Dining Room of the historic Manor House or outside on the Manor House lawn. Wedding receptions can be enjoyed in the Manor House Dining Room or Kitchen or in one of the Heritage Barns – there are lots of options for you to create your perfect day.
A Barn Wedding booking gives you access to both of our historic barns for 3 days, allowing you the time to set up and take down decorations and the flexibility to use the space however you wish.
With 1,000 years of history there are endless opportunities to create special photographs across our 17-acre site. From incredible backdrops of traditional Cotswold stone, hidden corners, historic doorways, a walled garden bursting with colour to sweeping meadows. You can even include our friendly farm animals!
