A session begins by being greeted at the gate by a member of staff then brought inside to wash their hands and self register by adding their name plate to our tree (either at 8.45 or 9am depending on start time). Once all the children are in, the main door is opened and the children have free access to the indoor and outdoor environment for the whole session. The setting is designed so that the children have free access to all resources to enable them to lead their own play. The staff support children in their learning by role modelling, offering cues to extend their learning and encouraging the children to take risks, be curious and have a go.
