Stokenchurch Dog Rescue  was set up by local residents in 1963 to save the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs, as well as those impounded by the police. Since then we have successfully rehomed thousands of dogs and are well known for our non-destruct policy.

Our sole aim is to find suitable and loving homes for all the dogs in our care. Once a dog arrives at our rescue centre, it is given a medical assessment and any immediate treatment is provided.

We do not receive any form of statutory funding, so all running costs and overheads are self-supported and self-financed. Therefore, our work would not be possible without donations from kind supporters.

As with many rescues in the current climate we are desperately in need of your support whether it be by organising fundraisers, making donations, playing our Weather Lottery, ordering us vital supplies from our Amazon Wishlist, sponsoring a dog or becoming a Member.

As a Member of Stokenchurch Dog Rescue you will help ensure that we can continue our vital work. Also you will receive regular newsletters with all the news from Tower Farm and details of fundraising events, along with many other items of interest to dog lovers.

‘Where there’s a Will, there’s a way’……..

…..when kind benefactors leave us a legacy in their Will, this then ensures that we can continue to rescue unwanted, unloved and abandoned dogs from the local area, as we have done since 1963.   These funds also enable us to make sure that each dog’s behaviour is fully assessed , and that they are fully fit and healthy, before leaving for their ‘forever’ homes.
