The Fox & Hounds at Christmas Common is a historic country pub in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding, natural beauty. Our cosy traditional interior, attentive friendly service and seasonal menu, including fresh local produce and delicious homemade food meets a varied palette.
We offer freshly cooked food from 12pm to 2.30pm Tuesday to Sunday and 6pm to 8pm Tuesday to Saturday in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. You can choose to sit in the barn restaurant or in one of the small areas off the main bar.
Weather permitting, you can enjoy alfresco dining in our beautiful country garden or at a table in our handmade Moroccan marquee!
Cyclists and walkers are welcome at the Fox & Hounds and dogs are welcome in our bar area! There are many lovely walks in the area and canine refreshments available on request.
Occasions:
We happily cater for Christenings, Birthdays, Weddings, Wakes and are happy to host private functions.
Our “Pocket” & “Parlour” are ideal for small meetings and club gatherings. Up to 15 people can be comfortably seated in the private rooms.
