The Hexagon
is a well established multi purpose venue in the heart of Reading. We have an exciting programme of events including Rock, Pop, Comedy, Drama, Classical Music and Dance.
Built in 1977
by Robert Matthew Johnson Marshall (RMJM) in the Brutalist style of modernist architecture, the venue's capacity varies from 1,200 to 1,686 depending on the programme. Hosting eclectic entertainers from big name Comedy, Spectacular Musicals, Classical Concerts, Opera, Pantomime, Drama, Dance and everything in between. Over the years we have welcomed to the stage such artists as the English National Ballet, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Morrissey, Katherine Jenkins, Lesley Garrett, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican, Vladimir Ashkenazy, B.B.King, Chuck Berry, Manic Street Preachers, Imelda May, English National Ballet, Ian Brown, Paloma Faith and The Stranglers.
