Our homes have been awarded an impressive average score of 9.8 on carehome.co.uk, generated by positive testimonials from our residents and relatives. The home will provide state-of-the-art facilities including a café bistro, cinema room, telephone landline in each room, regular visits from our Podiatrist, a hair and nail salon on site, activities room, private dining room, multiple air-conditioned lounges, some with balconies that overlook the landscaped courtyard garden including direct access to a “dedicated” external garden for memory care residents to enjoy in comfort and safety.

Oakland Care has a reputation in developing and operating exceptional care homes across London and the South East. So much so, our excellent standards have been recognised nationally by industry bodies including Laing Buisson where Oakland Care was selected as a finalist in three award categories for its management excellence, outstanding response to Coronavirus and as residential care provider of the year. Additionally, Knight Frank selected Oakland Care as finalist for ‘Luxury Care Home of the Year 2020’.

We are delighted, to welcome Emily Montgomery, the new Home Manager to our Oakland Care family. Emily is a Registered Nurse with more than 30 years working within healthcare, nursing, management and Chief Nursing Officer, and with her team, was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission for delivering safe, effective, responsive, and well-led care. An exciting series of events marks Windrush Day 2024 in Oxford from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 June. The theme of this year’s celebrations is ‘Women of the Windrush’. While traditionally focus has been given to the men who disembarked from the Windrush ship this year’s festival will put the female arrivals front and centre – their stories, and their voices.
