The award-winning Coral UV LED Sanitizer and Dryer launched on Kickstarter in April and has been produced by a Canadian design team with the aim of helping us keep our homes and possessions safe and clean. With science backed UV-C LED technology, the Coral UV 2  claims to kill up  to  99.9% of harmful germs in just 10 minutes. Suitable for a variety of household objects from baby bottles and cuddly toys to sunglasses, tablets, mobile phones – even makeup brushes!

The design has been built around a modern aesthetic with user-experience at its core. Increased safety features have been introduced, with LED lights making this mercury and odour-free. All of which has led to a 2021 Red Dot Award win in Design and Titus Tse, Cofounder of Coral UV comments, “We are humbled and excited to win such a prestigious award. This makes us proud that our core values of quality without compromise are being recognised.” To give an idea of size and capacity, one unit will fit up to 11 bottles of Perrier.

Initial pledge price on Kickstarter is around £94 for a unit and worldwide shipping is estimated for June, when the Sanitizer will be available for purchase online at coraluv.com and Amazon in June.

We have one unit to give away to a reader! Visit oxmag.co.uk/competitions to enter.
