Memoria North Oxfordshire

A celebration of Life Service and a Beautiful Final Resting Place

divider

Whether you are planning ahead or have recently lost someone close to you and are starting to make arrangements for their funeral, our award-winning crematorium and memorial park can provide the perfect setting.

Memoria North Oxfordshire is set in 30 acres of landscaped grounds, with a state-of-the-art chapel which is beautifully maintained and decorated in a relaxing and modern colour scheme. The interior not only has a calming effect but is also comfortable; the addition of our double-width family sofa seats help you feel closer in the more challenging moments of a funeral service.

We offer live, 5G web-streaming facilities for anyone unable to attend in person, along with your choice of music, image projection and bespoke colour wash lighting. It means every service can be personalised to the loved one being remembered.

We can provide a unique option for a wake at North Oxfordshire Crematorium with catering available in the Churchill Pavilion, offering a choice of six menus, each for a minimum of 25 guests; Morning Breakfast Buffet, Canape selection, Italian Buffet, Oxfordshire Ploughman’s Platter, Finger Buffet, or Afternoon Tea. Drinks are supplied by Oxfordshire’s Independent Wine Specialist. Available when booking a double slot, The Pavilion is situated with views of our landscaped gardens and is a great asset to the crematorium. Guests can remain on site without having to travel to a separate location. It is fully accessible for disabled guests and the room is beautiful and tranquil.

The site offers natural burials and a wide range of interment options for cremated remains. Moreover, our exclusive family gated gardens come with a unique 125-year lease, keyed access and the price includes a memorial bench and covers the cost of your first interment.

For more information, or to arrange a visit please call 01869 331 231 or look at our virtual tour on northoxfordmemorial.co.uk.

Burial and Memorialisation Options

Within our extensive parkland you have the choice of burial, scattering, and memorialisation options, and we also offer a selection of home memorials so you can keep your loved ones close to you.

Our limited number of family gated gardens are an outstanding addition to our facilities. Each garden is available with a lease of 125-years. The gardens are available to purchase either pre-need or at-need. All family burial gardens are fully maintained, and owners are given their own set of keys, creating a really special place to visit and reflect on cherished memories of your loved ones.

Since The Store opened on the former site of Boswells it has become my go-to place to meet friends. Squishy velvet sofas, friendly staff, delicious coffee and a relaxed yet luxurious vibe (reluxed?). There’s also the possibility of spotting an A-lister amongst the mix of glamorous guests and locals hanging out in the lounge or slipping through to retreat down to the spa. I’ve also cocktailed on the roof (those views!) and dined at Treadwell, the hotel’s modern British restaurant, so I didn’t need asking twice if I would like to go along to review the new Spring menu.

Growing your own seeds is an affordable and rewarding method to replenish your garden and enjoy beloved blooms year after year. Julian Palphram, Head of Plants at British Garden Centres describes seed harvesting as “like investing in your garden's future. Not only does it save you money…but it ensures you have healthier and more resilient plants.”
