The Pirates of Penzance

Pirates at St Katharines ogtatw

An unfortunate case of mishearing initiates the plot for The Pirates of Penzance, resulting in a dramatic change of direction for Frederic who sets a course to become a pirate rather than a ‘pilot’!

The twists and turns of this classic operetta unfold with ingenious characters, sublime lyrics and some of the best-known songs in opera.

Artistic Director: Vanessa Woodward
Producer: Mike Woodward
Production Director: Tristan Stocks
Musical Director: Nia Williams
Technical and Lighting Director: John Alcock
Woodwind and Orchestral arrangements: Nick Planas

‘We can’t thank you enough for such a fun evening on Saturday … we have had so many people contact us to say how much they enjoyed it! So we very much hope you’ll come back next year!’

‘Hi Mike, It was an absolute pleasure having the Opera Anywhere team perform at the Dean Heritage Centre at the weekend, everyone in the audience thoroughly enjoyed it and were absolutely blown away by how brilliant you all were. One of the audience members was begging me to get you to return!’
