Summer is creeping in, and we can’t wait to get stuck into some of our wonderful local festivals – as well as those that are well worth travelling for. Here, we’ve rounded up some of our favourites…

KITE Festival

10-12 June

KITE is a brand-new festival of ideas and music for curious, inquisitive, and cultural minds. Blending a unique line up of music and ideas against the backdrop of a classic British greenfield festival. KITE marks an innovative intervention aimed at collaboratively building a festival for the future.

Nocturne Live

15-19 June

Nocturne Live are delighted to announce that Simply Red and The Brand New Heavies will be playing the first of five nights of music at Blenheim Palace. They join David Gray, UB40 and Simple Minds to complete the line up for Nocturne Live 2022.

Fit Farm Festival

2 July

Fit Farm Festival, a unique family friendly festival that makes fitness fun and accessible, is returning to Oxfordshire for the second year in July. The 2022 festival includes over 40 classes and workshops including yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, bootcamp, street dance, tyre flipping, HIIT, deadlifting and barre. The event will also include a kids zone, creative workshops, specialist talks, local food and drink suppliers and massage.

Cornbury Festival

8-10 July

Loved by locals, Cornbury is one of the longest running festivals in the heart of Oxfordshire, attracting 20,000 people each year for the last 17 years, retaining the friendly community atmosphere of a village fete, that just happens to have some of the biggest international names in music performing on the main stage.

Fi.Fest '22 is just around the corner, and this year it's even bigger! Camp Bestival

Described as having a diasporic upbringing, singer-songwriter Namvula is also a gifted photographer and was co-founder of Film Africa, a London-based celebration of African cinema and culture. She now lives in Oxford where she will be performing later this month at The North Wall.
