Leading online florist Serenata Flowers have analysed their UK wide customer data uncovering the most romantic men across the UK.

1. Gareth is the most generous man in Oxfordshire with Tom in second place and Robert in 3rd.

2. 83% of men in Oxfordshire send flowers to their loved ones, whilst only 17% of women decide to show their love this way.

3. 94% of men in England keep the spark alive by sending flowers for Valentines.

The Bodyguard Tour

Milton Keynes Theatre is delighted to announce that Alexandra Burke will return to the starring role of ‘Rachel Marron’ in the international smash hit production of the award-winning musical The Bodyguard. Since winning the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008 Alexandra Burke has sold more than one million copies of her debut single, Hallelujah, in the UK, played leading roles in the West End and, in 2017, reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing. Alexandra returns to the role of ‘Rachel Marron’ following her triumphant run in the show in both the West End and the subsequent sell out 2015/2016 tour. Read her interview, here.

An inventive new production of Shakespeare’s Richard III comes to Oxford Playhouse from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 May. John Haidar directs Tom Mothersdale as Shakespeare’s most notorious and complex villain. This imaginative new staging is a co-production between Headlong, Alexandra Palace and Bristol Old Vic, in association with Royal & Derngate Northampton and Oxford Playhouse, and is the final Oxford Playhouse co- production in celebration of the theatre’s 80th year.
